I’m on day 3 of my drive from Colorado to Massachusetts, and I am happy as a clam! I may become a nomad. This is the perfect life for me. I have a goal to work towards every day. I listen to podcasts and books for hours. I snack on junk food. Then I arrive at my destination, LifeTime Fitness, swim and sit outside for a bit, check into a hotel, eat more junk and catch up on my computer (“work”).
Life is perfect.
I could arrive in Worcester tomorrow, but I’m not ready to face reality.
I read a story about a woman who was asked to bring coleslaw to a company party, and she was instructed on what KIND of coleslaw to bring. Needless to say, it was fancy and it didn’t contain mayonnaise. I eat a lot of coleslaw, but the only kind I like is the kind that is drowned in mayonnaise.
So last night, in Indiana, I ate coleslaw from Cracker Barrel and it was scrumptious! Tonight, I’m in the ritzy town of Beachwood, OH and my coleslaw came from Whole Foods. It was disgusting, Inedible. Think I’ll go back out to Shake Shack and return to my roots.
It just goes to show you. (What? I don’t know. Just don’t mess with success?)
Love,
Nomadic Jean
