Oh Joy!

This week I am in training to become a recovery coach, and I’m learning so much. Things like, I can’t turn down a client I find annoying. I can’t tell my client that they are boring. Also, we shouldn’t use words like Alchy, junkie, drunk or druggie to describe ourselves. They are good reminders for me. I’m supposed to be non-judgmental and open-minded. The question I haven’t asked yet is, am I allowed to be funny and make sarcastic jokes like these?

Today we were asked to choose a positive word to leave with, and I picked Joy. I have had many joyous moments in my life today!

To all the Erie haters, hate this!

On my walk with the dogs this morning at 7. Did I just say 7? Why yes, I woke up at 6:30 this morning and was out by 7 with the dogs. The balloons had just launched. Oh joy!

Then, BOTH dogs hung out the shed with me! Oh Joy!!!

Lastly, I am once again able to make use of my favorite mug. My dear friend Kristin gave it to me when I was living on fresh squeezed juice and vodka. We endearingly named it “Jean Juice.” Little did we know the problems it would cause for me. But now, I have a new drink that I call low-cal root beer float. It’s a little 2% milk with diet A&W.

Jean Juice 2.0. Oh Joy!
