I so wish we would stop vilifying one another and understand where the other side is coming from. That’s what I’m trying to do. I hate that this is happening. In fact, I’m sick over it, but I don’t hate people who think they are fighting for a life if that’s what they really believe. The problem is with a political system that is not representative of the majority opinion.
Someone read my last blog and had very mean things to say about people who are pro-life. They somehow wove gun ownership into that hatred and stated that those people, basically, should die and go to hell. I deleted their comment because I don’t want to be associated with nastiness, meanness and broad generalizations about people.
I think we can assume that everyone is pro-life in the most fundamental of ways. A meme I’m seeing on FB states that pro-lifer’s are stupid because they would rather a child be born without food on their table or a roof over their heads than be aborted. I’m sure those who are against abortion don’t wish the child to be denied basic rights.
These sweeping, mean generalizations have no place on my blog or my Facebook page. Keep your nasty hands off please.
